Helene debuts at the Pedro II Theater

On the 13th, Helene debuted at the historic Theatro Pedro II in the city of Ribeirão Preto, singing the soprano solo of Requiem de Fauré, a piece chosen in honor of all the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The concert with the Ribeirão Preto Symphony Orchestra and conducted by maestro Reginaldo Nascimento, originally had in its program also the beautiful Wagner’s Liebestod in the voice of the soprano, but due to the health protocols in force it was not possible to place all the necessary musicians keeping the correct distance, this piece being transferred to next year’s season.

The concert also featured the Adult Choir of Projeto Tocando a Vida and the baritone Wladimyr Carvalho.
