Cleopatra express success

Only 6 days in advance Helene was called to replace the Spanish singer Nancy Fabiola Herrera, who had to cancel her visit due to health reasons. Even without having sung the piece before, the soprano accepted the challenge and left for Porto Alegre to meet OSPA and japanese conductor Kiyotaka Teraoka.

Beautifully portrayed by Cleopatra, Helene was intense and precise in her interpretation of Berlioz’s play “La mort de Cleopatre”. The public in Rio Grande do Sul was enthusiastic to applaud the soprano at the end of her piece, on the OSPA website they highlighted that “Japanese conductor Kiyotaka Teraoka, a longtime partner of the orchestra, opened the show with ”La mort de Cléopâtre’ ‘, a prestigious work by the romantic composer Hector Berlioz focused on lyrical singing. The solo of the piece was by the soprano Tati Helene, recognized as one of the great voices in activity in the country, who was intensely applauded.”
