Chamber Music

Helene, despite being best known as an opera soloist, has also devoted herself to chamber music, with special emphasis on Brazilian songs.

Over the past 20 years the soprano has sung in various specialized in chamber music groups. In 2002 she joined the Consort FAAM group directed by Abel Rocha and devoted to the baroque repertoire, especially Monteverdi.

Also in 2002 Helene created the Duo Myosotis with the guitarist and composer Leandro Alvarenga. The duo lasted two years, specialized in Brazilian music, including their own compositions, and won the First Prize of the Chamber Music Contest Bianca Biancchi 2002 in Curitiba, with the renowned quartet of guitarists Quaternaglia as the jury.

In 2015 the Duo met again and restart their activities.

In 2008 she joined the Trio Craoca with Leonardo Fernandes on the harpsichord and Gilson Barbosa on the oboe and oboe d'amore. The Trio was specialized in Baroque music, particularly aming to rescue the sound of this historical moment.
